As per one thread's suggestion I am manually using AOS (animation on scroll), where I need to add attributes to the elements I want to animate. The problem I am facing is, when I add the attributes to the elements, they are hidden from the BS preview. They are actually present and also displayed in browser preview and project export. Not sure, why they are being hidden in the preview panel. Any help in this regard would be much appreciated.

Try using the AOS option from the rh menu.
I am aware of your issue but not sure there is anything you can do with the preview when you manually apply it unless you add the AOS attributes at the end of your workflow before you export

I used the animation tools from the options available from the Options panel of BS. However, BS has disabled animations for mobile devices. So, I opted for using AOS manually following the thread: https://bootstrapstudio.io/forums/topic/issue-in-adding-custom-attributes-to-objects

Ahh right ok, well I think there Is no way around the issue you are facing.
Maybe one to raise in the bug section perhaps
