Clarification on Bootstrap Studio roadmap and “lifetime” license

Not sure why you’d be concerned that the “project isn’t being actively maintained.” Martin is active in the forums and routinely posts about their future plans for the software. Here’s one such comment from 6 days ago… Page Scrolls to Top After Edit

The lifetime license is pretty clear. You get updated versions of the software for life. There are some templates that are included, and they also release premium templates from time-to-time that cost extra. When the program first came out, there were no premium templates, so I can see how there might be some confusion there.

”…which is confusing from a licensing and monetization standpoint.”

The license seems pretty clear. Not sure what you mean by “monetization?”

Even if, for some bizarre reason, the program stopped being developed, that would not stop you from using it to build new websites, or maintain websites you’ve already built with it. It would still be a perfectly functional tool albeit without a few features (at least until Bootstrap 6.x is released.)

I mean, nothing lasts forever, but Bootstrap Studio has been continuously developed and upgraded since it was released, with a big upgrade 2 months ago. I don’t imagine the Bootstrap framework is going anywhere anytime soon, so I can’t see why this program wouldn’t continue.

I cannot speak on the LLM features, as I never use them.
