Import products csv error

I wanted to try the reflow export/import feature. I exported the products as a csv file, didn’t open it or change the file extension so it’s not been altered . When I go to import the csv file back into reflow I get an error.

There were problems with the uploaded product import file.

The product import file must be of type csv.

Any ideas why this would happen? I was trying to import the products from a live store to a test mode store.
