i think javascript in BS5 have a problem
i write the same javascript in BS4 it no problem.
Are you using vanilla javascript or jQuery.
jQuery is no longer part of BS5 by default. But if you open your BS5 file in bss and click on settings (Bootstrap settings tab) then you will see jQuery Version set to none, just change this to the version you want to use.
