I launched my company site back in 2019 and used BSS to build the HTML for my Pelican-powered website. It saved me a ton of time. A lot has changed since then, and it was time for a fresh coat of paint.

I sketched out the design in Inkscape (I’m still not a designer) and built the HTML in BSS, which remains one of my favorite applications to use. I still need to fix a slight layout shift on mobile, but you know how that goes. 🙂

Here’s the result: [https://aeriform.info](https://aeriform.info)

Nice work @apowell656 ,

When I first saw the **Forge** page, I thought it had a purchase button? Do you have to download and install to purchase, what are the payment gateway options for payment/purchase?

Congrats!

Thanks @bss_user !

Forge includes a 3-day free trial, so you can download it, try it on a real project, and see if it fits your workflow before spending any money.

If you decide it’s a good fit, the purchase is completed inside the application using Stripe.

I appreciate the feedback. If you were expecting to see a purchase button on the website, that’s good feedback for me. I may need to make the free trial and purchase options a little more obvious.

(As you can probably tell, I’m still figuring out the marketing side of things. I’m much more of a developer than a marketer. 😉)

Thanks for the response and clarification, you’re doing great with everything. What stack are you building apps with, looks nice.

It depends on the project. I’ve worked professionally with Java, Python, Swift, and Flutter, so I usually try to pick the tool that best fits what I’m building.

Honestly, Python covers a surprising amount of ground these days unless I need a mobile application. When I need both desktop and mobile support, I find Flutter to be very flexible.

I’m also not a huge web app fan. I tend to prefer desktop applications and local-first software where I can. Both Forge and ReminderBridge follow that philosophy pretty closely.
