Site will not publish

I created a small site and tried to publish it to the Bootstrap Studio sites. After publishing it said the site was published but when I went to view it, I got a 404 page that said.

“We can’t show this website. If you are the owner of this site, make sure that you have an index.html file in your design”.

I DO have an Index.html page and have no idea how to fix this.

(I did notice if I type “index.html” at the end of the URL it works. But I shouldn’t have to do that, should I? Maybe I’m just ignorant of how it’s supposed to work.

Anyone else having this problem?

The simplest thing to do is process of elimination. Open one of the BSS template sites and see if you can publish it successfully. If you can, you know the problem is not with the BSS servers or the Software, but something specific to your website or your domain configuration.

It was an error in naming conventions. The site pages must be lowercase, or at least the “index.html” needs to be lowercase.
