Hi! I work a lot on BSS and I think that some function about surrounding element by link (a) is necessary. Select element, right click and choose "add link".

You can do this easily by dragging a link to the Overview pane of BSS to the location you want it to be. If you want the link to be the surrounding element, just drag contents such as text or images "onto" the link and it will place it inside the link. Pretty easy to do once you get used to the process.
I know but I always must delete "link" text :)
