If you’re building lots of pages in Bootstrap Studio, you’ll know how fiddly and time-consuming it can be to copy your Navbar and Footer across to a new page. You need to rearrange them to the top and bottom, ensure they’re linked components, and so on.
To make life a little easier, I’ve created a folder from the Design tab and named it 1 — this keeps it pinned to the top of the list. Inside this folder, I’ve added a page called template. Neither the folder nor the page gets exported, as I’ve selected the Hide in Export option.
Within this template page, I’ve included a linked Navbar and Footer, along with a custom heading, image, and paragraph. You can of course add whichever components you prefer — these just cover the basics.
Reusing the page is straightforward: right-click the template page and select Duplicate. This creates a copy titled template-1, which you can then drag into the main section, rename, and publish.
See image below.
Using this method gives me a ready-made page that includes all the essential components — and I can continue adding more, either pre-designed or built from scratch, as the page develops.
Much like premium templates that allow you to add components via a plus icon, I think it would be fantastic if there were a similar option — not for individual components, but for entire pages like this one.
Thanks for listening!
