While perhaps not as popular as they were prior to the flat design craze, I still use text-shadow and box-shadow from time-to-time. It would be nice if these could be added to the Look and Feel panel, sort of how the Filters options were recently added.
+1 I use them quite a bit actually and would love to see that added to the Look & Feel Pane. I might actually use that pane more often if it did have that :)

Sit it does, but that seems to only cover the full selection of an element, but not text. I'm looking for the ability to apply it to text as well.

The decorations panel shadow options are terribly limited (small, regular, large.) Completely arbitrary, no way to change the shadow color, the blur, the spread, the offset...
