When will the AI assistant feature for SEO optimization (Title, description, canonical, etc.) be available?
You don’t need AI for canonical. Go to Settings > Design > SEO and you’ll see the toggle for generating canonical tags.
You can always use stand-alone ChatGPT or Gemini. Just copy your page text, paste it and tell it to generate a page title of 50-60 characters, and a description of 150-160.
Personally, I prefer to create the titles and descriptions myself, based on the keywords for which I want to rank. AI will often make the titles too long, and miss keywords I want to target. Page descriptions are basically marketing. Again, I don’t find AI is particularly helpful with them. It often makes them too long, and chooses wording that is not aligned with the message I’m trying to convey.

You can use Copilot on your Windows 11 PC to do this for free.
For example, type something like:
“Create a search‑engine‑optimised title of under 80 characters and a search‑engine‑optimised description of under 220 characters in UK English:”
Then add the URL of the webpage.
It works best if you use the ‘Think Deeper’ option.
If Copilot can’t read the web URL, or if the page hasn’t been published yet, provide the relevant details from that webpage instead.
