Hey folks! We just added a new section to our website called App Gallery. There the team will be uploading free apps/micro sites for Bootstrap Studio that are downloadable as bsdesign files, and are easy to customize.
You can think of apps as slotting between components and templates. They use JavaScript for interactivity but are only a single page and are smaller than templates. For example the Quiz app we added uses a Bootstrap Carousel and JavaScript to create an interactive quiz. This is too complex to publish as a component in the online library, and too small for a standalone template, but having it as an app is a good fit.
If you would like to see other apps added (like the events page with a google sheet from the other thread) share your suggestions below. If it proves popular, we may integrate these apps with Bootstrap Studio so you don’t need to download separate bsdesigns from the website.
An outstanding initialive! My work-in-progress uses several bespoke features that I can’t really upload as individual components (eg, because more than one of them is required). I’ll look at submitting the features in this way.
Yes, we design our website in Bootstrap Studio itself. After this we export it and integrate it with our backend. The visible part of the website is mostly static, so it’s easy to keep it in sync.
Amazing idea and very helpful, so we can build without a deep knowledge.
My suggestion would be to make a directory of activities when visiting a city with a webapp simple UI like this.
