Note: When I was trying to uninstall it said the app directory was corrupt - So I tried shift+deleting it and it cleared out OK but I can’t get this installed
Could it be that you have a window dialog asking for permissions that has opened up under another window?
I’ve had that a few times (not with bss) the perils of multiple monitors and too many windows open

This can happen if there are leftover registry entries from a previous Bootstrap Studio install. You can use a registry cleaner app like CCleaner to remove them. The install will work again after that.
That was probably nothing. When trying to remove old version:
I used 7zip to extract the new download and placed the “Uninstall Bootstrap Studio” in that specified path, uninstall worked
