Strange — I tried it on my end using your exact instructions, and the option wasn’t greyed out.
There is another way to copy your navigation bar, or any other component. Simply right‑click on it, choose Copy and paste, and then select Copy to.
If you have multiple pages, scroll to the bottom of the menu and select Multiple pages. You can then choose which pages you want to copy it to. Just remember to tick Link copies if you want the component to update automatically across all pages.
Thanks. Copy-to works. My issue with that workaround is that when I have a significant number of pages and want to make a change I’ll have to do it on each page rather than just one linked instance.
Not if you select the “link copies” option I mentioned in my original post.
In the Overview section, you should see a small icon next to the Navbar indicating that it’s a linked component.
If you change any part of the Navbar — whether on the homepage or any other page — those changes should apply across every page, provided it’s a linked component.
