Custom code adds new line?

Hi everyone,

as the German language tends to have very long words, I need to put some ­ or ­ entities inside headings and paragraphs.

I tried this as custom code. But the custom code adds a new line or takes up space itself in the Bootstrap Studio window. In browser preview it looks good, but these additional lines irritate me any time I see them in my layout inside Bootstrap Studio.

Is it possible to add custom code without taking any space in the studio window?

Ok, it seems I found it myself.
The entity has to be put inside a span inside the custom code:

<span>&#173;</span>

Would be great if BS Studio would add a shortcut here as it has e.g. for line break.

Languages like German can have very long words, and automatic hyphenation often breaks them at nonsense positions.
