Hi,
With the release of v9.0, I’m now getting a warning about duplicate libraries in my site, specifically Bootstrap Icons externally linked CSS stylesheet.
I use the <i> element to apply icons as a preference - they tend to line up better this way than using the SVG approach which often requires d-flex and alignment to achieve the same thing, and also renders less code.
So my site uses an external link to the Bootstrap Icons CDN for the stylesheet. But v9.0 is now warning me that a duplicate reference exists. If I remove the CDN link, the icons naturally disappear, which is not what I want to do.
I’m assuming it’s safe enough to ignore this warning and that there won’t be any impact on browser performance.
Can you clarify this perhaps?
Many thanks.
