Strange request, I know, but I’m finding myself updating quite a few sites from BS3 to 5 (finally!) and some from 4 to 5. One thing that would really make upgrading sites easier would be the ability to copy and paste directly from one open project to another, without having to keep opening and closing the dialog window for the settings.

I think I know what you’re saying, but could you clarify. Do you mean the top menu File > Settings window?
Yes, when that is open you cannot access other projects directly. You have to:
copy from the Settings window
close it
go to the other project that is open
open the settings window
paste it,
close it
go back to the other project,
rinse and repeat if you have a lot of things to get from the settings window from one project to another.
Would be so much nicer to leave both Settings windows open and just go back and forth till you have all the information from it. Would sure save a lot of clicks.
Definitely agree with you that it would be easier, but I suspect they won’t be able to do this because of the way that opening the settings window takes focus from the root application.
