I’ve been meaning to bring this up for a while, but I keep getting sidetracked lol.
It’s been mentioned in a few other threads here and there, but when I did a search I didn’t see a bug report for it so here it is.
F2 to rename items is not working or doing anything at all. So far all the others I’ve used and am still getting used to are working, but not this one.
I’m on Mac Mini MacOS Big Sur
It works for me, never had problem renaming items with the F2
Thanks @kuligaposten that prompted me to look further in my system and I forgot that I had settings for toggling the Function (Fn) key on my MX Keys keyboard.
The Moral of the story is … if you use Logitech keyboards (wired or wireless) you can turn that function on and off with holding the Fn key and hitting the Escape key.
User error here, but I sure am glad I posted about it.
Maybe a Moderator can move this thread to TIps and Tricks?
