Hi,

Is there a way to tag a component with an ID so it can be referenced elsewhere in css and target urls without having to convert to html then add it manually ?

Yes ? you have to expand the attributes section beneath the html/css pane that shows below your design preview (not the html tree bottom left)

Here you can add your own IDs / class name and other attributes
