Native Multilingual Support in the CMS

For a future update, the idea would be to integrate native multilingual management: being able to define titles, URL slugs, and Markdown content in multiple languages all in one place.

Even though you can always duplicate a site to translate it version by version, centralizing translations directly in the CMS would be a huge time-saver and make the workflow much smoother for both devs and contributors.

What do you all think? Would this feature be useful for your projects?

This would be a useful feature, I agree. But it is also highly complex so we’ll need to see some real interest from users to spend time on this. If others would like to see multilingual support in the CMS they can share their thoughts here.

I have a small javascript whu change the url when you on click on language and display new language but when you have a multiple folders with publications have a bugs …

All my projects are in Portuguese/English. Multilingual is fundamental to my work.

I think that if the CMS could handle two or three languages, that might be enough for BSS. Personally, I use French and English.

I would go for 4 languages, some countries have several official languages.
