Running the Linux version to build BSS Projects.
Hi I have spent days creating a demo & saving then closing my laptop many times.
Today I closed BSS and did the usual restart then went to open the pinned project & nothing, it won’t open.
When looking at the BSS project folder it has no folder icon & 0 bytes.
Completely gone
.
I’ve checked the trash folder & no BSS files there.
Is there anything else I could try?
Cheers Chris
See if this helps.
I’d check that before opening BSS again, just in case it overwrites a good backup with a bad (empty) one.

You little beauty Gondwana.
You don’t know how great it is to see the backup in there.
I had forgotten about the part of BSS.
Thanks so much - Brilliant.
Thanks to the BSS team for putting that in the app.
I have a few copies now
Cheers Chris
No worries; happy to help.
I’m sure you can guess how I know about that very nice feature.

I copy all the contents of my work drive to a second internal drive daily. I can never lose more than a day of work. Weekly, it’s all backed up to an external drive, and cloud storage. 40+ years of using computers has taught me BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP!
(And it’s not backed up until you’ve actually tested a restore!)

Hi @printninja
Yep I normally do, this was an odd site that just evolved over a couple days from mucking around to a demo for someone.
I usually put everything on my server but not this time(Stupid Hurts
).
It was really the CSS & JS I needed to get back as had the images & rebuilding the html would’ve been straight forward.
As I said I’ve got plenty of copies now & have copies of the other BSS sites too.
Cheers
Yes, you’ve always struck me as a computer veteran, so you’d know this stuff well.
