Removing code lines

When I export the website, lines of code are added that I would like to remove (duplicate canonicals with different URL links). The problem is that I cannot find those lines of code within the BSS interface, only in the files being exported. Is there something within BSS that can remove this?

Sincerely, Ron

If possible can you include a screenshot? It will give us a better idea of what code you’re referring to.

Dear Martin, I think I’ve been messing around too much because Google kept giving me the message: no proper canonical tag applied. I found information on the internet that turned out to be incorrect; a canonical tag doesn’t always have to point to the homepage. I did do this in BSS at the time, adding that URL to the heading on every page. It then ended up between the meta tags, after which I could no longer edit or remove it. I have since solved it, but I don’t remember exactly how. As far as I can recall, I toggled the canonical tag option on and off within BBS a few times and restarted the computer. If it happens again, I will let you know. I don’t think it’s a bug in BSS; actually, I am the problem here. Thanks for your support! Regards, Ron
