It would be really helpful to show the color on the side when editing a css or scss file. I have added a sample as it is done in PHPStorm from Jetbrains, but other editors have this feature as well.
I am happy to share that we are working on migrating the built-in code editor to the same framework that Visual Studio Code uses. When that happens we will be able to add color previews, code navigation, smart auto complete etc. This should arrive in one of our upcoming releases and will significantly improve the code editing experience.
