Does Smart Forms come with reCAPTCHA, or must I set it up manually? When I set up a form and test, I do not get the reCAPTCHA checkbox.
We are running an experiment at the moment with alternative spam protection measures and Google reCAPTCHA won’t show up every time in Smart Forms. We’ve heard a lot of complaints from users and ideally we would like to remove it. You don’t have to do anything from your end, smart forms will always work and protect you from spam.

I’ve been getting several duplicate spam emails on two separate sites from the same person. Is the reCaptcha functioning properly now?
We don’t use reCaptcha any more but we have other protections in place that protect against automated spam bots. What you are describing is likely a person filling in the forms manually. No captcha solution can protect against this. Still if you can forward one of the spam messages to hi@bootstrapstudio.io we can investigate further.
Are these just as effective as reCaptcha?
If so, did I miss something? Is this in the documentation somewhere?
