In regards to the email the customer receives after a successful purchase:

The see order button has the link:
https://domain.com/shop/order-status?order_id=1417744038&secure_hash=59abe48249

I do have a order-status.html page.

What could be causing the 404 page not found error?

A 404 indicates your link is incorrect. Make sure you’ve preserved the .html extension.
