Hello,
In BSS the “Add comment” option is very interesting.
I currently use it on the body of each page to indicate progress and take notes.
It would be very practical to have a similar system directly on the pages, using a color code for progress.
In this way, we’d have a direct visual of progress without having to open the pages.
Thank you for the suggestion! I have seen several project-management related requests over the years, but the issue with them is that everyone organizes their work differently and as a result the features would see very limited use while costing a lot of time to develop and maintain long term.
For your suggestion, if instead of progress tracking for pages, we add a general color tagging ability for pages, resources and components, it would make it broadly useful to many people who would be free to interpret the colors as they see fit.
If others would like to see such functionality, share your thoughts below.
Thank you for your reply.
The simple fact of being able to add visible comments in the page tree would already be a huge improvement.
If we could also choose the color of the markers, that would be even better.
After that, it’s up to each person to interpret the colors according to their own preferences.
I don’t think it’s necessary to do more.
