Web based Bootstrap Studio?

Maybe this must have been mentioned before. But, I can’t help but wish that I could use Bootstrap Studio in a browser, without installation.

There is already a demo available on the homepage, wondering why is it not possible?

Licensing, perhaps? Then maybe it needs to be subscription based?

I don’t know. Just wanted to be able to access the builder wherever I’m.

Bootstrap Studio was almost certainly developed as a desktop application so they could offer it at the very inexpensive price of $59.

The reason that cloud-based website builders like Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, etc., are able to run “in the cloud” is because they charge you a monthly fee that is ongoing for as long as you have your website with them. It’s a much more expensive business model (for both the developers and the customers.)

Given the choice between a one-time fee of $59, and paying well over a hundred dollars a year, year-after-year, indefinitely, I definitely prefer the former. While it does mean you can only work on your website on computers where you have the application installed, it also means that you can work on your websites without being connected to the internet.

Yes, definitely. That’s the reason everyone buys Bootstrap Studio, mainly.

I’m just finding myself tied to a specific device when I need to work on something. It just crossed my mind, after I visited the homepage, where you can try out the browser version. Felt a relief for a second with the thought of being able to use it online.

As you said, it’s not suitable for Bootstrap Studio, as it seems.

Bootstrap Studio depends on a lot of features that are not available in web browsers. If we were to build a web version, we would need to reimplement a lot of functionality so that it could run on our servers instead. This would be viable only if the app is subscription based.

The current one-time purchase model is perfect because people run the software on their own computers and this is infinitely scalable.
