Version 4.3.1 is out!

Hey folks,

I am happy to report that we just released Bootstrap Studio 4.3.1! Here is what's new:

  • 10 new beautiful Bootstrap 4 templates. You can see them in the New Design dialog.
  • A Device Menu is displayed when clicking the Stage dimensions, allowing you to quickly resize your page to match popular devices.
  • The Stage has been rewritten to support vertical resizing, position:fixed and vh units.

The rewrite of the stage makes things work a bit differently (there are now scrollbars on both the page and the stage) but it was needed so that the page can be resized vertically. This way vh units work as expected and elements with position:fixed and position:sticky are fully supported.

Looking forward to your feedback and bug reports! The next release is going to be 4.3.2 and will bring more of the features we have planned for the 4.3.* series.

excellent, thanks. Just a quick note: bootstrap is currently v4.1.3

(sorry to add another message to the thread but I can't modify my previous one)

jquery released last Jan. version 3.3.1

Nice update, thanks!

Thanks @marrco! We'll update them in the next release.

one more little thing, really easy to implement: When updating to latest 4.1.3 bootstrap release, could you please follow the guidelines at and add integrity="sha384-.... for <link rel="stylesheet" and the JS, Popper.js, and jQuery script src links?

or even better use the provided default 'starter template' that i see now also adds shrink-to-fit=no and also uses jQuery’s slim build

<!doctype html>
<html lang="en">
    <!-- Required meta tags -->
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, shrink-to-fit=no">

    <!-- Bootstrap CSS -->
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="" integrity="sha384-MCw98/SFnGE8fJT3GXwEOngsV7Zt27NXFoaoApmYm81iuXoPkFOJwJ8ERdknLPMO" crossorigin="anonymous">

    <title>Hello, world!</title>
    <h1>Hello, world!</h1>

    <!-- Optional JavaScript -->
    <!-- jQuery first, then Popper.js, then Bootstrap JS -->
    <script src="" integrity="sha384-q8i/X+965DzO0rT7abK41JStQIAqVgRVzpbzo5smXKp4YfRvH+8abtTE1Pi6jizo" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>
    <script src="" integrity="sha384-ZMP7rVo3mIykV+2+9J3UJ46jBk0WLaUAdn689aCwoqbBJiSnjAK/l8WvCWPIPm49" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>

Thanks for this update :-) I'll wait for the autosave feature now, the chart.js component, etc ;-)

+1 for adding integrity as marrco proposal

And just a question : Bootstrap Studio don't remember if the editor panel is open or not. do you think you can correct that (as i'm constantly use it) :-) And, perhaps, for custom code, just a double-click to directly edit it, for now, we have to right click to do that. i don't know if it's a lot of work for you, but this will be useful.

Thanks !

@Martin, Are we getting closer to or moving towards multiple simultaneous views?

Great works!

Those templates may win ?

Thanks for the feedback! @BSS_User multiple views is a possibility, but is not something we are planning to do in the immediate future.

Thanks for the info. You guys are really doing grate here. And I love it.

I bought bootstrap studio last Friday but I could not activate version 4 on windows 7,8,10 and linux mint. please help me please

@cannel001 contact the developer directly and re-check you entered your license number correctly.

I managed to activate the application with version 2. I then proceeded to update by installing the latest version but the application remains blocked during this process.

First off, you don't get version 2 if you purchased it last Friday, you get version 4 right away, so I don't know where you purchased your version, but you didn't purchase it from the developer's site here. So the question at this point is, where did you buy your version 2 from?

here is the proof

really interesting question, @Jo. But I guess this guy from Abidjan will just disappear. Like the other guys that had the same problem

But let's play along since @CannelSeka is showing 'the proof' he really bought it. and paste a few screenshots So why don't you just download the latest version and use the code you bought from the developer with that version?

Kudos to martin for updating only legit installs.

I bought this software to work faster on a very important project. I'm in abidjan . it's a problem for you if I understand correctly

I bought this software

if you bought it last Friday from the developer here, just install the latest version. And activate with the code the developer sent you per email.

do not install an obsolete version and then try to update it.

BTW you did not answer Jo question: "So the question at this point is, where did you buy your version 2 from?"

After the purchase, I received an email from bootstrap. I then click on the button found in email that led me to the site I downloaded the latest version and proceed to the activation after installing it on windows 10. unfortunately I received an error message during the activation. I installed Linux mint on virtualBox to try to activate the latest version but the same. You think it's normal?
